A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Hi, thanks for stopping by! I’m a UX designer specializing in front-end design, human behavior, and research. With a breadth of knowledge in all areas of the design process, I am a UX designer who loves using creativity to solve problems. Having worked with families worldwide for the past 15 years as a private nanny, house manager, and educator I have a high level of compassion and empathy. My familiarity with human behavior and problem solving has instilled in me a strong base for creating thoughtful UX solutions and experiences.
In addition to a certificate in UI/UX Design from Springboard, I hold a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from San Jose State University and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. I aim to continually grow and learn through education, work, and life experiences.
When I’m not creating, you can probably find me running, at the beach, exploring a new country/city, or trying new food (whether it’s cooking it, eating it, or both).

A FEW THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
TRAVELING and EXPLORING
I love to travel! I’ve visited over 28 countries. One of my favorite countries to explore is Greece.

SUNRISES and SUNSETS
One of my favorite quotes: “Even after all this time the sun never says to the earth, 'You owe me.' Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky.”-Hafiz

HIKING and BEING OUTDOORS
I love to hike, run and to spend time outdoors!

ART and PHOTOGRAPHY
In my spare time I like to draw, paint and take pictures. My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to spot a sloth in the coastal city of Cartagena, Colombia and I painted this sloth in remembrance.

COOKING and EATING
Doesn’t matter if I’m eating it or cooking it, I LOVE food! After taking a cooking class in Cuba with my sister, where we made two traditional cuban dishes (Ajiaco and Ropa Vieja), I was inspired and recreated it when I returned home.

HELPING and GIVING BACK
“Be the change that you want to see in the world” Whenever I can, I try to volunteer to organizations and programs that give back and help people, communities, animals and the environment all over the world.
